Singer Training Forum
Comprising stakeholders in the field of opera, the Singer Training Forum gathers twice each year to discuss critical issues concerning the training and career development of young artists.

Opera Source contains the most recent information available on auditions and other upcoming events, as well as general information on thousands of mainstage, training, educational, management and competition opportunities from a range of organizations.

Dramatic Voices FAQ
OPERA America, with the assistance of professionals in the field, answers questions about fostering young dramatic voices. Biographies of historically successful dramatic vocalists are also presented for research purposes.

Workshops
OPERA America hosts professional development workshops across the country with experts from the field who provide business and career advice for emerging artists.

Making Connections
This series, held at OPERA America’s New York offices, consists of professional development and networking events for all opera artists.

Conferences and Conventions
OPERA America’s annual conference is the largest gathering of opera professionals in North America. A link to the National Performing Arts Convention, held every four years, is also included.

National Association of Teachers of Singing
Encourages the highest standards of the vocal art and of ethical principles in the teaching of singing; and promotes vocal education and research at all levels, both for the enrichment of the general public and for the professional advancement of the talented.

National Opera Association
The National Opera Association seeks to promote a greater appreciation of opera and music theatre, to enhance pedagogy and performing activities, and to increase performance opportunities by supporting projects that improve the scope and quality of opera.

National Association of Schools of Music
The National Association of Schools of Music is an organization of schools, conservatories, colleges and universities with approximately 615 accredited institutional members. It establishes national standards for undergraduate and graduate degrees and other credentials.

College Music Society
The College Music Society is a consortium of college, conservatory, university, and independent musicians and scholars interested in all disciplines of music. Its mission is to promote music teaching and learning, musical creativity and expression, research and dialogue, and diversity and interdisciplinary interaction.

American Academy of Teachers of Singing
The American Academy of Teachers of Singing is a select group of nationally recognized teachers of singing who work together as one body to offer professional advice and guidance to those who teach singing or perform as singers. We were founded in 1922. We are limited by charter to forty active members and membership is by invitation only. We do not operate a school.

New York Singing Teachers' Association
The New York Singing Teachers’ Association strives to provide teachers with the tools and inspiration needed for an increasingly informed and creative pedagogy. Immense advances in voice science, neurology, psychology, education theory, medicine, and mind/body healing offer new information and techniques from which voice teachers can draw.
