There are several ways to support your child’s involvement in M!W!O!
Volunteer
The best way to find out how you can support your child is by contacting his or her teacher and asking how you can help. The chances are good that your child’s teacher will appreciate your assisting with any number of tasks. Parents can help create costumes, build scenery or serve as classroom helpers while the students are working on creating their original opera. Parents can also help create a memorable performance for their students by serving as ushers or helping create a concession stand on performance night. If you have a background in music or theater, you can also assist the students with composing or staging their opera. If you are unable to volunteer your time, simply helping your child rehearse as he or she prepares for the performance and attending the production are wonderful ways to show your support.
