We use a tailored, creative, collaborative approach that puts data in the hands of our clients, enabling them to gain a deeper understanding of patron behavior and make optimal pricing and scaling decisions. We also work with development partners to deliver the Revenue Management Application (RMA), a pricing decision-support software application, providing training and consulting support to all North American users.
The Pricing Institute has clients across North America. Current and recent clients include the Adrienne Arsht Center, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Center Theatre Group, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Goodman Theatre, Houston Ballet, Metropolitan Opera, National Ballet of Canada, The Santa Fe Opera, Segerstrom Center, SFMOMA, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Stratford Festival, and Vancouver Opera, among others.
Responsibilities and Qualifications: The Pricing Institute is hiring a full-time Consultant whose primary responsibilities will be providing RMA support and training, consulting, and company support. Required skills include experience with Tessitura (specifically, the ticketing functionality); industry experience in Marketing and/or Box Office; a high level of numeracy; an exacting, data-driven way of thinking, with the ability to interpret and communicate trends within data; a professional, personable and diplomatic manner; strong communication and organizational skills; strength in working collaboratively as well as independently; comfort requesting help; enthusiastic, energetic, with a ‘can do’ attitude; a commitment to excellence and high standards of customer service; impeccable attention to detail; a high degree of flexibility; and willingness and availability to travel. The Pricing Institute’s U.S. headquarters is in Boston, but the Consultant’s home base is flexible. Extensive domestic travel is required, so being based near an airport hub is highly beneficial. Some initial training will take place in the U.K.
