Description: Tableau opens in a diner much like Edward Hopper's famous painting in which Leo, the proprietor, is holding forth behind the counter. A 12-year-old paper boy comes in from the cold and encounters an old drunk, who proceeds to regale the boy with his science of how to love and his history of loss.
