Technical & Production Resources
OPERA America provides tools for technical and production professionals to communicate with their peers and to share resources. OPERA America also encourages technical/production professionals to consider a career in opera.

Production Directory: This searchable online directory features production-related personnel, resident theater information and information regarding rental inventories of sets, costumes, props, musical materials, titles and translations at OPERA America’s member companies.

Conferences and Conventions: OPERA America’s annual conference is the largest gathering of opera professionals in North America. Also included is a link to the National Performing Arts Convention, held every four years.

The Electronic Media Forum: OPERA America's service to members interested in increasing their use of new media to enrich the opera experience for current and prospective audiences.

ArtistLink Sample: This monthly electronic newsletter contains articles, resources and upcoming opportunities for opera artists and administrators. This member benefit replaces previous artistic services publications including Voices and Opera Forum

Technical/Production Committee: OPERA America's Technical/Production Committee works in close association with OPERA America to identify and create resources for technical/production professionals.

Technical/Production Personnel Directory: This directory lists general contact information for all Professional Company Members of OPERA America, Opera.ca and the over 700 technical/production professionals affiliated with these organizations.

New York Venue Directory: This online resource is a helpful tool for OPERA America’s Professional Company Members who are seeking spaces suitable for auditions, workshops and/or performances in New York City.

Visa Support: OPERA America's Artistic Services and Government Affairs departments support the opera field with issues related to the visa application process for international guest artists.

Standard Costume Measurement Form: Created by OPERA America’s Technical/Production Committee, this measurement form is a valuable resource for companies, artist managers and singers.
