Singer Training Administrator Resources
OPERA America provides the means for singer trainers and administrators to promote their program and advertise auditions. Many of the services we provide to singers will also be of use.

National Singer Training Forum: Comprising stakeholders in the field of opera, the National Singer Training Forum gathers twice each year to discuss critical issues concerning the training and career development of young artists.

Opera Source: Opera Source contains the most recent information available on auditions and other upcoming events, as well as general information on thousands of mainstage, training, educational, management and competition opportunities from a range of organizations.

Conferences and Conventions: OPERA America’s annual conference is the largest gathering of opera professionals in North America. Also included is a link to the National Performing Arts Convention, held every four years.

Workshops: OPERA America hosts professional development workshops across the country with experts from the field who provide business and career advice for emerging artists.

Making Connections: This series, held at OPERA America’s New York offices, consists of professional development and networking events for all opera artists.

Singer Self-Inventory: With the assistance of professionals across the field, OPERA America has compiled a list of important skills and traits for the professional singer to help your students or young artists assess their strengths and weaknesses.

Classical Music Artists
  This Web site is published jointly by the Association Européenne des Agents Artistiques and the International Artists Managers' Association in cooperation with eMusici. The artist listings contain details of artists and ensembles managed exclusively by members of the International Artist Managers' Association. Artists are searchable by name, by voice category, or by manager. Full information about each manager is available. The site is password protected; a free registration is required.
Musical America Online
  This popular and comprehensive print directory is now available online: Musical America's Web site is similar to the directory with up-to-date and exhaustive listings in 30 searchable databases. There is a cost associated with access. The site also features articles, breaking news, and a career center for artists and administrators.
NYFA Source
  Most complete database on the Internet of ongoing grants, residencies, and other programs to assist composers, singers, and other artists.
Operabase
  Available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Dutch, this Web site contains schedules, information on artists, and listings of opera companies world wide.
OPERA America Managers' Web Sites
  Managers' sites may include roster lists, bios, resumes, photos, recital programs, and monthly newsletters. Links to the Web sites of artist managers who are OPERA America Business Members are listed on our site (when available).
