National Opera Center Campaign
Opened in 2012, the National Opera Center has become a cornerstone of the opera field, serving over 75,000 local and national artists each year with 25,000 square feet of custom-built facilities for rehearsals, recitals, workshops, performances, seminars, meetings, recording sessions, research and more.

The $14.5 million campaign to build the Opera Center began in 2005 in response to the critical need for suitable audition, rehearsal and recording facilities. It has since transformed the work experience for thousands of organizations and individual artists and provided a home for a widely dispersed, yet highly collaborative industry.

Be a part of the National Opera Center by participating in the campaign with a gift or multiyear pledge. Special naming gifts, including Ovation Hall Tribute Panels, offer a unique opportunity to honor family, friends, artists and administrators who have made a significant contribution to the art form and field.

Make a gift today by completing the online campaign form or call Dan Cooperman, director of development, at 646.699.5266 to learn more about naming opportunities.

Ovation Hall Tribute Panels
Ovation Hall Tribute Panels provide an opportunity to celebrate, thank and remember those who have contributed to opera’s rich legacy, right in the heart of OPERA America’s National Opera Center. The Ovation Hall lines the walls of the Opera Center, paying homage to the field’s great leaders while providing a backdrop to the companies and members who have made the Opera Center their working home.

As lasting public accolades, Tribute Panels can:
  • Celebrate artists and administrators who have played leading roles in advancing the field and the art form.
  • Honor a long-serving trustee or cherished volunteer.
  • Acknowledge the anniversary of a general director or the outstanding work of a staff member.
  • Affirm a company’s place in the national community.

Custom-inscribed Tribute Panels are available in three sizes for fully tax-deductible contributions of $2,500, $5,000 or $10,000.
