Opera Memphis
Recital: Opera Omakase: Music to Chill Your Blood

Web Address: www.operamemphis.org/omakase
Start Time: 7:00PM

In Japanese cuisine, omakase refers to a meal made up of dishes specially chosen by the chef. This season, we are borrowing this culinary term to describe operatic experiences curated by our music director, Michael Sakir. So, instead of food omakase, this is music omakase - music selected just for you!

The inaugural event in this series features Halloween-themed music by Schubert, Berg, Korngold, Britten, Barber, and Marschner performed by soprano Bethania Baray, baritone Marcus King, and pianist Michael Sakir.
