The NY Opera Fest is a two-month celebration of New York’s vibrant and varied opera community, held throughout May and June, 2018, with over 35 companies putting on more than 50 events in venues around the city. We will present this year's NYOA SERVICE AWARD, which honors someone for their enrichment of the opera community in New York City. Excerpts from operas in the Fest will be performed. The Fest is organized by the New York Opera Alliance, in partnership with OPERA America, the national service organization of opera and the nation's leading advocate for American opera.

Welcome to the 3rd annual New York Opera Fest! With upwards of 30 events over 2 months, there's something for everyone!

The New York Opera Fest, May - June 2018, showcases the breadth and diversity of opera in New York City through events ranging from world premieres to complete reimaginings of opera greats, with productions in theaters, bars, playgrounds and more.

All events are produced by members of The New York Opera Alliance (NYOA) in partnership with OPERA America, the national service organization for opera and the nation’s leading advocate for American opera.
