LIVE GREEK/SYRIAN MUSIC

FILM: HUMAN FLOW by Ai Weiwei
This epic film journey led by the renowned Chinese artist-activist Ai Weiwei, gives a powerful visual expression to the massive human migration that stretches across the globe: from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, France, Greece, and Germany to Iraq, Israel, Italy, Kenya, Mexico, and Turkey. Urgent stories of the refugee crisis capture their desperate search for safety, shelter and justice, and come at a crucial time when tolerance, compassion and trust are needed more than ever.

Q & A following the film with the International Rescue Committee.

Heartbeat Opera
Don Giovanni

While Don Giovanni dances at the edge of a precipice, three extraordinary women pursue him, each seeking their own reckoning, pleasure, and liberation. Is the great seducer destroying or empowering the women he encounters? What story does the sublime music tell? This visceral new production wrestles with Mozart’s elusive masterpiece in our present cultural moment.
