Working with the marketing and communication department and the company photographer, the Photography Intern will be photograph events throughout the season. This includes: mainstage shows, ambiance, special events, camps, and other events. Besides shooting events themselves, they will assist in additional photo shoots as needed with the company photographer and videographer. The intern will maintain organized files, assist in photo selection for press purposes, and edit photos. In addition, the photographer will help generated social media content and other creative projects pertaining to photography and visual design.

In addition to your cover letter and resume, please submit a portfolio or link to your work.

Opera Theatre internships offer the opportunity to meet a wide variety of people both in and beyond the company.  A basic familiarity with (and enthusiasm about) opera and classical music is a great help, because it cuts down the amount of material interns must assimilate and adds greatly to interns' enjoyment of the activities offered during the season, however it is not required!  Interns are invited to attend additional lectures, recitals, and rehearsals as their schedules permit.

The majority of our interns are college students or recent college graduates, but any qualified applicants interested in pursuing a career in arts management will be considered.
