Synopsis
A popular children's story reset in a small town in Texas during the American Depression. A resourceful young orphan named Sally helps Max and his failing store by making stone soup—composed of different ingredients from the customers that visit his store. Comic and heartwarming, the opera puts forth a message that cultural diversity enriches our lives.
