Portland Opera is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Patron Services Manager. This is a full-time, exempt position, reporting directly to the Director of Marketing & Communications.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Oversees Patron Services operations in key areas to ensure excellent customer service, data integrity, inventory controls and internal fiduciary controls
· Directly manages Patron Services team (Supervisor & Reps). Leads all aspects of performance management as appropriate for the division, working closely with the Patron Services Supervisor to oversee team schedules, goals, staffing resources and professional success
· Manages subscription campaigns, productions marketing plans, annual departmental plans
· Collaborates with Development team to ensure seamless service for Donor Patrons
· Coordinates with Artistic and Production teams to manage comp tickets, bow seats, kills and sight line issues
· Market leader for the ticketing/CRM platform in the regional arts ecosystem
· Works with associate companies and organizations on an as-needed basis to build, execute and lead contracted sales and development services provided by Portland Opera
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
· 5+ years of Box Office management experience, preferably in the performing arts
· Expert knowledge of Tessitura, or other integrated Patron database and ticketing system
· Experience building and maintaining a season in Tessitura/TNEW
· Ability to provide excellent customer service and develop/train others to utilize best practices in all areas of department functionality
· Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
· Proven track record of managing priorities, multitasking and collaborating

BENEFITS
Pay Range: $55,000 - $58,500 Annual
