Recording Days welcome singers and other performing artists to create high-quality video and audio recordings at subsidized rates.
Artists work with professional sound engineers in the acoustically excellent Marc A. Scorca Hall of the National Opera Center.
Recording Days are supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
Whatever your voice type or instrument, take advantage of subsidized rates and professional sound engineers to record your next demo, audition reel, or musical project.
When you register, you receive:
- A one-hour video recording session. (Singers must arrange to bring their own accompanists.)
- Basic video and audio editing from professional in-house engineers. (Additional editing and mastering may be purchased separately, as available.)
- High-definition video and audio files via secure download link within 10 business days. (Rush processing is not available.)
Recording Days are open to individual singers, pianists, and instrumentalists, as well as to small independent opera companies. Registration is limited to two slots per person per calendar year.
Recordings take place in the acoustically excellent Marc A. Scorca Hall at our National Opera Center in New York City.
