Career Expansion for Artists provides information and training for artists seeking to complement their creative careers with additional work both inside and outside the performing arts.

This program helps creative artists — such as singers, designers, composers, librettists, conductors, directors, and dramaturgs — assess their skill sets and discover a wide variety of positions that align with their core values and strengths.

Career Expansion for Artists is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
