OPERA America’s Mentorship Program for Women Administrators has supported the professional development of women in opera, partnering protégés with established leaders who serve as mentors since 2018.

Four newly chosen mentor-protégé pairs are now embarking on the yearlong program in which they will meet for mentoring sessions remotely and in person, including at Opera Conference 2026. Each team will develop a personalized plan for the protégé to overcome barriers to advancement and set goals for professional growth.
