Opera's Hall of Fame

Amid sparkling conversation and a festive atmosphere, OPERA America inducted its second class of honorees into the Opera Hall of Fame at a lively dinner in New York City in January. This annual event, which includes a dinner and performances by artists in the Metropolitan Opera’s Lindemann Young Artist Program, also confers the National Opera Trustee Recognition Awards on a select group of company trustees for their exceptional governance.

  • Anthony Davis, composer and teacher
  • Sherrill Milnes, baritone and teacher
  • Frederica von Stade, mezzo-soprano and humanitarian
  • Michael Bronson, arts administrator and producer
  • Wayne S. Brown, arts leader and administrator
  • Susan Feder, arts funder and advocate
  • Frayda B. Lindemann, trustee and philanthropist
