Grant Winners: Civic practice projects in 2025

In addition to performances of operas grand and intimate, companies around the continent are increasingly prioritizing civic practice initiatives that address public priorities and community needs using the unique resources of opera. Since 2018, OPERA America has funded this work through its Civic Practice Grants. The latest round of funding provided $180,000 to seven companies, listed below.
