SAS Performing Arts is proud to present the finals of our 2020 Vocal Competition Opera Division. The final competition will be held on December 13, 2020 at 3:00pm EST which will be streamed over our youtube channel. At that time, you will hear these singers in performance and the winners of the First, Second and Third prizes will be announced at the end of the concert. The judges include Metropolitan Opera star Soprano Isola Jones, Internationally known Mezzo Soprano Tichina Vaughn and Soprano and Arts Executive Director Deborah Surdi.

We received over 100 applicants and have now chosen the 12 finalists. The finalists are: Katherine Marie Chacon: Soprano, Blake Denson: Baritone, Michelle Drever: Soprano, Hauen Jang: Soprano, Jonathan Kaufman: Tenor, Melissa Joseph: Soprano, Elizabeth Lewis: Soprano, Kyaunne Richardson: Soprano, Camille Sherman: Mezzo Soprano, Kristin Starkey: Contralto, Kwang Young Yoo: Baritone, and  David Young: Tenor.

You can also play a major part in this competition by casting your vote for the audience favorite. Once all the votes are tabulated, the audience favorite will then be notified and will win a cash award. Only viewers can vote on an audience favorite.

The final competition can only be viewed by using a code to allow you to access this special event. To receive this code you must register on our website www.sasperformingarts.com. Once registered the code will be emailed to you one hour before the competition begins.
