New York Opera Alliance Announces Premiere Event

On Sunday, November 3 at 3:00 p.m., the New York Opera Alliance (NYOA) is hosting its premiere event in the intimate setting of (Le) Poisson Rouge. This is a chance to celebrate New York’s always vibrant and diverse opera scene on the last day of National Opera Week, and to meet some of the many NYOA participants. Tickets ($10) are available at lepoissonrouge.com or 212.505.FISH.

A wide cross-section of NYOA’s participating organizations will present a program of arias and excerpts in all of the different musical styles that make up the operatic art form. From Baroque to Classical to Romantic, through the 20th century to the present day, there will be something for everyone.

NYOA (NYOperaAlliance.org) is a consortium of alternative/independent opera companies and producers operating within the five boroughs of New York City. It was established to enhance and support the visibility and viability of each organization and of the consortium as a whole.
