Rehearsal Pianist (Fall 2026) Sarasota Opera | Sarasota, Florida
Sarasota Opera is seeking a pianist to join the music staff for Fall 2026.
Contract Period: September 28 – November 21, 2026
Responsibilities:
Play rehearsals for Rootabaga Country (Youth Opera production)
Serve as pianist for school outreach performances and activities
Assist with music staff duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Strong piano and sight-reading skills
Collaborative piano experience
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
Knowledge of operatic repertoire and experience working with singers preferred
Desired Start Date: September 28, 2026
BENEFITS
Pay Range: $600 - $700 Weekly
Compensation:
$600–$700 per week, based on experience
Housing provided
Transportation to and from Sarasota provided
A personal vehicle is helpful, though not required.
