DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Operations Coordinator
Classification: Summer Seasonal May - August
Department: Operations
Reports to: Operations Manager
Salary Range: $16.50 hour/ Non-exempt
Position Summary
The Operations Coordinator supports the efficient day-to-day functioning of the organization by coordinating logistics, managing administrative processes, and ensuring communication between departments and external partners. This role is critical in facilitating smooth operations and supporting organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative & Logistical Support
- Coordinate daily operational tasks, including scheduling, supplies, and resource management
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for internal operations
- Assist with the planning and execution of events, projects, and organizational initiatives
-provide support with house management and patron services operations, including front-of-house logistics and guest experience
Internal Coordination
- Support onboarding of new staff and interns, ensuring they have access to necessary resources
- Assist with internal communications and updates
Other Duties:
- Support leadership and operations team with ad hoc projects
- Provide backup for reception, phone coverage, and other administrative functions when needed
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- 2+ years of experience in an operations, administrative, or project coordination role
- Bachelor’s degree in business, arts administration, or related field or any equivalent combination
- Experience working in nonprofit, arts, or festival environments is a plus
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Office-based with occasional on-site/event work
- May involve lifting boxes/supplies (up to 25 lbs), standing for extended periods, or walking campus grounds.
