Position: Costume Shop Manager
Location: Portland, Oregon

Portland Opera is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Costume Shop Manager. This is a full-time, exempt position, reporting directly to the Director of Production.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Heading up the move-in and set-up of a Costume Shop in a newly refurbished Portland Opera artistic home
Analysis and implementation of all costume aspects for Portland Opera productions
Oversight of construction and alteration of all costumes, including builds and rentals
Supervision of costume staff, including IATSE wardrobe crew
Oversight of shop equipment maintenance and inventory
Organization and maintenance of extensive wardrobe stock
Budgeting and forecasts for all costume and wardrobe aspects of productions, including labor
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
3 years of professional experience managing a costume shop of at least 3 employees
Ability to manage multiple projects
Experience with IASTE union crews
Ability to carry up to 50 pounds and climb ladders
Clean driving record

BENEFITS
Pay Range: $65,000 - $70,000 Annual
