OPERA America Salutes is a special, Friday-evening event that brings together artists, producers, and champions in tribute to some of the field’s most accomplished figures. In celebration of OPERA America’s 50th anniversary, the unforgettable evening will induct the inaugural classes of the Opera Hall of Fame and bestow the National Opera Trustee Recognition Awards. Proceeds from the event support the next generation of opera leaders by sustaining OPERA America’s professional development programs — Leadership Intensive, New General Director Roundtables, Mentorship Programs, and other career services — as part of its 50 More Campaign.

OPERA America will provide coach transportation to and from the Eventi Hotel between select events in New York from Wednesday through Saturday. Details and timing will be distributed in advance of the weekend.
COVID Safety
For the safety of fellow participants and staff, and in accordance with New York City regulations, vaccinations are required to participate in all in-person activities during National Trustee Weekend. Each registrant will be asked to provide valid proof of vaccination when arriving at activity venues. Additional protocols to ensure the safety of all registrants will be distributed in advance of the event.
Additional Information
The activities and schedule may change. OPERA America will distribute a detailed itinerary with times and locations by email in mid-October, approximately one week prior to the start of activities.
Suggested dress for daytime events is business casual and for evening events is business attire.
