Performing Artist Visa Survey 2026

A wide range of national arts organizations are working in collaboration to improve opportunities for international cultural activity. As continued delays, disruptions, and changes in procedures impact the U.S. guest artist visa process, the Performing Artist Visa Working Group is collecting real-time data to assist in ongoing advocacy efforts and technical assistance.

This survey is specifically targeted for those who engage guest artists under the O and P visa classification.

The survey will close Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.

This survey was developed by the Performing Artist Visa Working Group, which is a part of the Cultural Advocacy Group (CAG), and in partnership with The League of American Orchestras.

The Cultural Advocacy Group (CAG) is an ad hoc coalition that focuses primarily on federal policies that intersect with the arts and humanities. CAG is composed of representatives from arts and humanities organizations engaged in national arts policy. The group meets monthly (or more frequently as needed) for the purpose of sharing federal policy updates and aligning strategy.
