Over the past decade, Lyric Opera of Chicago has been quietly rebranding itself. The company hasn’t gone so far as to change its legal name, but instead of using its full title, it now goes more succinctly by “Lyric” on much of its public-facing messaging, like its marketing materials, press releases, and social media posts.
