The University of Maryland School of Music is dedicated to offering undergraduate and graduate musicians conservatory training in a university setting.  The Maryland Opera Studio is a two-year graduate degree program awarding the Master of Music in Opera Performance.  The Studio provides complete education & training of the opera singer in preparation for a professional career.  For undergraduate voice majors, the Opera Workshop (taught by faculty members of the Maryland Opera Studio) offers an introduction to the skills needed for the serious study of opera performance.
