New Works Featured Presentation Grants support new work performances, readings, and workshops presented by Professional Company Members in conjunction with the New Works Forum.

OPERA America’s New Works Forum is the pre-eminent national convening dedicated to improving the quality and quantity of new American operas produced and performed across the country.

Featured Presentations are intended to expand and diversify the range of new works presented at the New Works Forum beyond those presented by New York-based companies as part of their public seasons.

New Works Featured Presentation Grants are supported by the Mellon Foundation.

Grant Details

New Works Featured Presentation Grants support the presentation of full productions, workshops, showcases, or readings alongside the New Works Forum, with awards of up to $10,000.

Eligibility: OPERA America’s Professional Company Members based in the United States may apply.
