IDEA Opera Residencies
IDEA Opera Residencies (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access), offered from 2021-2023, was designed to support creators of Color living in New York City who were new to opera. The residency provided direct grants, residencies, mentorship, and career support to artists.
The IDEA Opera Residencies were discontinued in 2023. The program was made possible by the Katherine S. and Axel G. Rosin Fund of The Scherman Foundation.
