American Lyric Theater concludes its 10th Anniversary celebration of the CLDP with InsightALT: Opera in Eden, a one-night-only concert featuring three new one-act operas written by this year’s new class of Resident Artists:

BLOODLINES (Music by Shuying Li, Libretto by Lila Palmer)

THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO NANA (Music by Liliya Ugay, Libretto by Lorene Cary)

THE TREE OF ETERNAL YOUTH (Music by Andy Teirstein, Libretto by Julian Crouch)

Featuring:
Summer Hassan, soprano
Maya Lahyani, mezzo-soprano
Margaret Lattimore, mezzo-soprano
David Margulis, tenor
Brian James Myer, baritone
John Tibbetts, baritone
Ryan Kuster, bass-baritone

Gloria Kim, music director/pianist

This event provides the opportunity to see the “next step” in the development of the three operas featured as part of The Living Libretto event in March. The evening will be hosted by composer/librettist Mark Adamo and Producing Artistic Director Lawrence Edelson.
