Queens Opera Theatre
Queens Opera Theatre provides affordable, world-class productions, making Opera, and the Vocal Arts overall, accessible to existing and potential music lovers. We educate our audiences about Opera heritage and the natural connection to Operetta and Musical Theatre, marrying all three platforms. As part of our mission to bring opera out of the concert hall and into the community, Queens Opera Theatre aims to foster a new audience through its educational outreach programs. Our outreach initiative includes bringing FREE performances to NYC public schools and providing short, educational talks to spark a passion for opera in young people. From our Sold Out Inaugural Season Preview at Flushing Town Hall in 2017 to our recent collaboration/creation of Songs for Saplings with The Compost Collective, a Community-based volunteer organization in Forest Hills, New York, Queens Opera Theatre continues to go from strength to strength, fulfilling our mission to expose our audiences to the presentation and enjoyment of Opera.Upcoming Events
