Mobile Opera
Mobile Opera is among the oldest opera companies in the nation and is Alabama's oldest performing arts organization. The company produces a wide range of traditional mainstage operas, new works, chamber operas, and concerts utilizing a broad repertoire. Education programs ensure that students' experiences include the arts and that adults are provided with life-long learning opportunities. Scholarship programs provide encouragement to young artists preparing for a career in opera. A volunteer Board of Directors and professional staff guide the organization that boasts many connections to prominent artists across the country.
