National Opera Trustee Recognition Awards give Professional Company Members an opportunity to bring national attention to their boards of directors by honoring trustees for their exemplary leadership and service.

The strength of an opera company relies on the caliber of governance demonstrated by its board members. National Opera Trustee Recognition Awards highlight the tenets of good governance and provide models of trustee excellence.

Award Details

Eligibility: OPERA America’s Professional Company Members based in the United States can apply. Each company is invited to nominate one trustee per year.

Winners are featured in a national press release and honored at an awards dinner in New York City.
