Opera Grants for Women Stage Directors and Conductors
Opera Grants for Women Stage Directors and Conductors support Professional Company Members based in the U.S. in hiring women for key artistic leadership roles.
OPERA America believes that American audiences benefit from the creative perspectives, experiences, and talent of women in all facets of opera production.
Women Stage Director and Conductor Grants respond to the underrepresentation of stage directors and conductors who identify as women. They advance gender parity in the field by incentivizing opera companies to hire women for these roles.
Opera Grants for Women Stage Directors and Conductors are supported by the Marineau Family Foundation.
